Eldon was the youngest son of Barney Sebastian and Donna Prunty Grimm of Ritchie County, WV. He was married to Alva Lorene Westbrook. He had two children, Bette Sue Grimm and Stephen Bruce Grimm. He was a devout Jehovah's Witness.
He was stationed in Guadalcanel and the Philippines for four years during WWII in the Army. He earned the Bronze Star by saving a fellow solder with a tourniquet. But, I couldn't get a replacement from the military because his records were burned. So, I ordered one from Medals of America for $30.
His second wife was Colleen L Boyll Grimm. She died in 2002 in Fresno County, CA.
The pink TS was placed on his grave by the JW's. I had it removed to add the one from the military.
When he died, he had the property that his brother had left to him when he died in France during WWII, sold. Most of the proceeds were left to three different JW Kingdom Halls, Watsonville, Fresno and Selma Congregations. He left a pittance to his two children. He left nothing to the family of his second wife.
