Maude was the elder twin born to Pearl (nee Goodson) and Thomas William Connolly, Sr. Her twin brother was Claude William (Bill) Connolly. She married Samuel Helmer and they farmed in the Old Dime Box area, and moved to Houston in the latter part of 1930. She is remembered as a woman of strong faith, a good cook and blessed with a lot of patience. She taught Sunday school, and was a member of Jensen Drive Assembly of God Church. PID by husband Sam, and twin brother, Bill. Funeral service Friday, January 28 at Heights Funeral Chapel. Interment at Hollywood Cemetery follows.
