Rites Saturday For Henry Doden At St. Matthew'sFuneral services for Henry H. Doden, 61, of Monticello will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at SI. Matthew Lutheran church with Rev. Arnold Schlueter officiating.

Interment will be at Oakwood cemetery.

Mr. Doden died Monday afternoon at a Rock Springs, Wyo., hospital. He suffered a heart attack about a week ago while returning home from an Oregon vacation trip with his wife. His body was returned to Goettsch Funeral home Wednesday.

Survivors include his wife, Emma; four sons, Lawrence of Jewel, Wilbert of Portland, Ore., Marvin of Onslow and Kenneth of Monticello; one daughter, Mrs. Roger (Delores) Romp of Martelle; six grandchildren; two brothers, John of Langworthy and Rhinehart of Monticello; four sisters, Mrs. Will Plueger, Mrs. Carl Plueger, Mrs. Tobias Hinrichs and Mrs. Henry Brockens, all of Monticello.

A brother and his parents preceded him in death.

Mr. Doden was born Mar. 24, 1896, at Langworthy, the son of John Frederich and Taulke Margaretha Dirks Doden. He married Emma Weers June7, 1920, at Wayne Lutheran church.

They farmed near Monticello and Martelle and moved to Monticello in 1953. For the past lew years; he had been a Salesman and fieldman for Jones County Farm Serv ice company.

Mr. Doden was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran church, Anamosa; American Legion post and V.F.W. post #683, and Monticello Lions club. He was a director and past secretary and president of the German Mutual Insurance company.
