Mrs. Sarah Roberts Last of Family Who Founded M.E. Church Gansevoort—The funeral of Mrs. Sarah Roberts was held at the Methodist Episcopal Church Wednesday at 2 p. m. The Rev. John M Mitchell officiated. Bearers were nephews, Lucien Rice, D. A. Rice, Harry Rice, Eugene Rice, Alfred Winslow. Clifford Hurd. Mrs Roberts was the last member of the Mayhew Rlce family who was one of the founders of the Methodist Episcopal Church which will be 100 years old next year. Burial was la Gansevoort Cemetery. Star of Mystic Tie Chapter S07, O. E. 8., will meet in the hall tonight at 7:30. A large attendance is requested as this is the last meeting before the district grand officers make their official visit. Charles Reeves, Saratoga Springs, attended the funeral of Mrs. Sarah Roberts here Wednesday.

Mrs. Sarah Roberts, 86, former well-known resident of this city where she was born, died yesterday afternoon at the home of her nephew, Lucien Rice, Fort Edward. Several nieces and nephews survive. She was a member of the local Methodist Episcopal Church. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p. m. at the Methodist Church at Gansevoort. The Rev. J. M. Mitchell will officiate.
