Louisa is a brick wall for me. Although her name shows up everywhere that I look for her husband Moses, that is the only thing I'm sure of, is that she was the spouse of Moses Farris. There are many different dates as to her birth, marriage and death. Another fact that I am sure of, is that she is buried here in the Negro Creek Cemetery with her husband. We are pretty sure Moses came to the Rockcastle & Lincoln counties area along with his brothers. But the question is weather she came with him as well or was she already a citizen of this area. At this point we can use this as the foundation stone and build on it and make the connection between her and her husband Moses. If anyone has any solid information on Louisa I would appreciate any help you can provide to add to her memorial.
