Richard was best known for his photography. Throughout his life his passions included wood working, photography and cooking. He was preceded in death by his wife, Erica Schalk Burleson. Richard is survived by two children, Michael C. Burleson of Prairieville, La., daughter-in-law, Mindie Burleson, Jonathan S. Burleson of Richmond, Va., daughter-in-law, Tracey Burleson. He is also survived by his brother, Edwin E. Andrews III of Raleigh, N.C.; and four grandchildren, Jordan, Nathan, Ashby and Drew.
