Bonnie Gregory Eaves, 76, of 117 Hillcrest Drive, Union, widow of Leon L. Eaves, died Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006 at her home.

Mrs. Eaves was born in Union, Sept. 18, 1930, a daughter of the late Starks Gregory and Annie Lee Gregory.

She retired from Milliken & Company. Mrs. Eaves was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church where she served as coordinator of the Nursery and on the Hostess Committee. She was a member of the choir, a member of the Recycled Teens and the Tommy Vaughan Sunday School Class.

Surviving are: a daughter, Lisa Robbins and husband John; a son, Lynn G. Eaves and wife Debbie, all of Union; two sisters, Deanie Blackwood and Ruth Cohen, both of Union; a brother, Gene A. Gregory of Union; two grandsons, Jacob Robbins and Greg Eaves; two granddaughters, Alexa Robbins and Amy E. Davis; and a great-grandson, Luke Davis, all of Union. Mrs. Eaves was predeceased by two sisters, Doris Frazier and Margaret Holcombe, and two brothers, Robert Gregory and Walter Gregory.

Funeral services will be held at11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006 at Tabernacle Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Dr. Alastair Walker. Burial will be in Union Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be Ray Robbins, George Holloway, Paul Kicidis Sr., James Blackwood Jr., Harold Clark and Randy Travis.

The following are asked to assemble at the church at 10:45 a.m. Saturday to form the honorary escort: Johnny Greer, Bennie Bobo, Reader Norman and James Lancaster.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 this evening at Tabernacle Baptist Church.
