Richard Eva, 72, husband of Alice Bryant Eva, died Tuesday, June 20, at his home. Born in Tamaqua, he was the son of the late Thomas Eva and the late Annie Couch Eva. Mr. Eva was a retired U.S. Air Force M/Sgt. with 20 years service and a World War II and Korean veteran. Survivors include his wife, Alice of Sumter, S.C.; two sons, Richard Thomas Eva of Pennsylvania and Billy John Eva of Sumter, S.C.; a brother, Robert Eva of Pennsylvania; a sister, Margaret Gallagher of Pennsylvania; and four grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville.
