WILLIAM C. ARENTZ RETIRED FARMER, DIES

William C. Arentz, a retired farmer of Two taverns, died on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. in the Warner Hospital, Gettysburg, where he had been a patient for the past seven weeks. Mr. Arentz died on his 82nd birthday. he was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Two Taverns, and was a son of the late Alfred and Ella Bair Arentz. His wife, the former Fannie Herr, died in December, 1948.

He is survived by three children, Myrl Arentz, Mrs. Maria Abel and Cleason Arentz, all of Gettysburg; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; four sisters and one brother, Mrs. Flora Wherley, Littlestown; Mrs. Rose King, Harrisburg; Miss Amanda Arentz and Miss Edna Arentz, Two Taverns; Allen Arentz, Littlestown.

Funeral services Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock from the J.W. Little and Son Funeral Home, Littlestown. Mr. Arentz's pastor, the Rev. Oscar E. Freeman will officiate. Internment in Grace Church Church Cemetery, Two Taverns. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday evening.
