Karlene and Henry Keller passed away peacefully at home within nineteen hours of each other. Karlene was born on April 2, 1939, to the late Joseph and Dorothy (Richards) Kieff in Marinette. Henry was born on October 7, 1931, to the late Henry and Lucille (Betters) Keller in Marinette. Karlene graduated from Marinette High School in 1957. She had worked at various manufacturers in the area. She enjoyed traveling, winters in Fort Myers, reading, doll collecting, and most especially, time spent with grandchildren. Henry served his country in the Navy during the Korean War. He had worked at Keller Construction and then for Marinette Water and Utilities for many years, retiring in 1994. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, searching for antiques, Christmas tree decorating and was proud of his Menekaunee heritage. Karlene and Henry were married December 14, 1957, in Marinette. Karlene and Henry are survived by two sons: Jon (Lynn) Keller and Terry Keller, both of Marinette; two daughters: Kim Berg of Milwaukee and Julie (Todd) Johnston of Brookfield; eight grandchildren: Anthony (Jodi) Larson, Matthew Keller, Jeanne Keller, Sammie Keller, Brittney Berg, Alex Berg, Jon Keller and Hailey Johnston; six great-grandchildren; and combined, many brothers and sisters. In addition to both of their parents, they were preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Visitation will be held at Thielen Funeral Home on Saturday, May 21st from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice and Ann and Cindy for their compassionate care.
