Daughter of Jerial and Betsey Lorenza (Tullar) Trescott. The 1860 U.S. Census had the Trescott family living in Brownington, VT - parents and nine children. Seven of the children were attending school. Their real estate value was $2500, and personal estate value was $280.

Mina married William Henry Ingalls in W. Stewartstown, NH on 17 Jun 1871. Wedding was officiated by Josiah Abbott, JOP. At the time, William was living in Hereford, Quebec. He was born in Canaan, VT.

The 1881 Canada Census has William and Mina as farmers living in Compton, Quebec with three children, one of whom was attending school. Also in the household were William's father John Langdon, and William's sister Victoria.

The 1891 Canada Census shows the farming family still in Hatley, Canada. They now had six children with the older two attending school. William died in 1897. By then the older two children were married, which left Mina with her hands full. She died after several months of myocarditis and liver issues...
