Henrietta (Jones) Cadieux 57 of Assonet, passed away on Wednesday May 11, 2016 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of thirty-seven years to Denis Cadieux.
Henrietta was born in Cleveland, the daughter of the late Waymon and Ruth Geraldine (Runion) Jones. She was a graduate of Westport High School class of 1978. Henrietta began working at Princess House in Dighton as a glass cutter and eventually worked in the accounting office. While working she earned her Associates Degree in Accounting from Fisher College. Mrs. Cadieux then worked for RAW Seafood in Fall River for eight years in the accounting department. Henrietta then earned her CNA license and took care of the elderly throughout the area. She enjoyed making crafts, being with her family, especially her dog Peaches, and camping.
Survivors besides her husband are three sisters: Ruby M. Ellington, Ruth J. Roderick, Marquita Jones, three brothers: Harold Lee Jones, Darrell W. Jones, and Perry K. Jones along with many nieces and nephews; her two special aunts Thelma and Virginia. She was the sister of the late Terry P. Jones.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday May 16, 2016 at 10 AM in the Hathaway Home for Funerals, 1813 Robeson Street, Fall River. Relatives and friends are invited to attend, burial to follow in the Assonet Burying Ground.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday May 15, 2016 from 2-5 PM in the funeral home.
