Linda Sue Booher Blair, age 67, of Bristol, Tenn., passed away on Monday, May 2, 2016 after a long illness. Linda was born on July 22, 1948 in Bristol, Tenn., a daughter to the late Herbert and Ora Booher.
She was a lifelong resident of Bristol who worked for years at Electrolux and briefly at King Pharmaceuticals and Touchtone Wireless. She attended Tennessee Avenue Baptist Church. Linda loved spending time with her family and talking about her grandchildren. She had a gentle spirit, was a kind, loving and devoted wife and mother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Glenna Mae Phillips and Doris Ann Whited.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Charles “Mike” Blair, Sr.; daughter, Melanie Blair Hutton and husband Chris; son, Charles “Mikie” Blair, Jr. and wife Laura; grandson, Logan Barnett; granddaughter, Makayla Blair; two step grandchildren, Bailey Hutton and Alyssa Beckett; sister, Louella “Tiny” Nixon; brothers, Wayne and Jimmy Booher; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2016 in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Mike Eklund officiating.
The entombment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 6, 2016 at Mountain View Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her nephews, Scott Booher, Jeff Booher, Danny Nixon, Roger Hayden, Johnny Phillips and Gary Hayden. A special thank you to Cathy Morenings and Lisa Moore who took such good care of her.
