Doris A. Booher Whited, age 69, of Bristol, TN, went to be with the Lord, Friday, July 18, 2008 at the Johnson City Medical Center.

She was born December 13, 1938, a native and lifelong resident of the Bristol area and was a daughter of the late Herbert and Ora Booher.

Doris was a former employee of Electrolux and Raytheon and was co-owner and operator of Whited Antiques
. She attended Bethel Baptist Church and Sinking Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include:
Loving Husband of 34 years: Dewey Whited
Children: Roger Hayden and wife Kathy,
Gary Hayden,
Pam Stanton and husband Wayne,
Joyce Seay and husband Scott,
Jacob Whited and wife Karla,
Dewey Whited and wife Denise
Grandchildren: Sarah Collier and husband Nate,
Jeremiah Hayden, Bridget Hayden and Amber Hayden
Apollo Whited and wife Cassie,
Wendy Whited and husband Steve
Brothers: Wayne Booher and wife Carol,
James "Jimmy" Booher and wife Peggy
Sisters: Glenna Phillips and husband John,
Louella Nixon and husband Buck,
Linda Blair and husband Mike
A host of family and dear friends.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 PM Monday, July 21, 2008 in the Glenwood Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Johnny Dillard officiating.

Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers will be Johnny Phillips, Jeff Booher, Scott Booher, Perry Baines, Dave Taylor, Pat Widner, Jay Widner and Rolce Cook.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Sunday at the funeral home or other times at the home of daughter, Pam Stanton, 472 Peoples Road, Bristol, TN.

Special thanks to the staff at Bristol Dialysis Center and Nurses of Johnson City Medical Center, Dr. Kevin Sweet, Dr. Stanley Vermillion and Anderson's Pharmacy.
