Death of George Alsop.
George Alsop, aged eighty-six years, died at his home in the Hecker road Monday after a short illness. Mr. Alsop was born in Cheshire, England, and had lived in this country since he was a young man. He is survived by a wife, two sons, Edward and William, and by two daughters, Mrs. W. F. Miller, of Syracuse, and Mrs. H. E. Nielson, of Fayette. The funeral will be held this (Wednesday) afternoon in the Genung chapel, the Rev. D. L. Roberts officiating and burial made in Maple Grove cemetery.
