Mrs. Armstrong was retired from Herndon Enterprises and was formerly employed by Hugh’s IGA. In earlier years, she and her late husband owned and operated a grocery store in Abbeville.
Mrs. Armstrong was a charter member of the Calvary Baptist Church and was active in most church activities including teaching Sunday School and singing in the church choir.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, her husband of seventy-years, James Harold Armstrong, three sisters, Eunice Money, Mildred Money and Myrtle Money Moring, and three brothers, Rupert Money, Hubert Money and Rudolph Money.
