Felipa Dominguez y Sotelo was born about April 1812 at San Diego Presidio to Mariano Dominguez ("soldado") and Maria Venancia Sotelo. She was baptized on 1 May 1812 in the Presidio Chapel. She married Bernardo Antonio Yorba about 1829 in Alta California. She died in childbirth on 7 September 1851 in Santa Ana and was buried on 9 September 1851 at the Yorba Cemetery.
