Woodbury, CT – Sept 12 – Edward Leavitt, of New York City, died suddenly of apoplexy at his summer home here today. Mr Leavitt was a Broker in New York. He was about 50 years of age. Survived by his widow, a son and a daughter.

Edward Leavitt, a Broker, died suddenly from heart disease at his summer home in Woodbury, CT, yesterday. Several years ago, Mr Leavitt purchased the rights to the Pomeraug River at Woodbury for fishing privileges. He was about 50 years old.
