Henrietta Frank (161865771)
Suggested edit: Mrs. Henrietta Olivia Frank, 94, died Wednesday, Aug. 2, at her home in rural Wathena.
Mrs. Frank was born in Wathena Feb. 7, 1884, to John and Henrietta Christel Meidinger. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Wathena, and the UMW.
A lifelong resident of Wathena, Mrs. Frank was the only remaining member of the graduating class of 1901 at Wathena High School. She also attended Iowa Wesleyan College at Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. Mrs. Frank was one of Doniphan County's oldest citizens.
She married August N. Frank March 29, 1906 in Wathena. He died June 27, 1968.
Survivors include one daughter, Fern Ward, Kansas City, Mo.; four sons, A. Nelson Frank, Arthur E. Frank and Charles L. Frank, all of St. Jo, and Harold O. Frank of Plainfield, N. J., seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday afternoon at Harman Mortuary, Wathena. Rev. Lybran Endsley officiated. Burial was in Bellemont cemetery, Wathena.
Pallbearers were Clarence Nold, Paul Frank, John Cates, Bob Werner, John Ward and Joe Dorton. Honorary pallbearers were Kenneth Hartman and Donald Manville.
Harman Mortuary, Wathena, was in charge of arrangements.
