Edwin Stacy Roark, 68, of Pittsboro, Indiana, passed away Friday, April 29, 2016, in Brownsburg Meadows. He was born April 16, 1948 in Lebanon, Indiana, son of the late Lawrence and Lovinia (Wills) Roark.

Ed married Linda Dawn Ohl on May 22, 1971 in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania.

He was an ordained minister and pastored at Fortville Christian Church in Fortville, Indiana, Owensboro Christian Church in Owensboro, Kentucky, Tulip Street Christian Church in Mitchell, Indiana, Monticello Christian Church in Monticello, Indiana, New Brunswick Christian Church in rural Boone County, Indiana and the Elizaville Christian Church in Elizaville, Indiana. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, Linda, he is survived by his son, Nathan (Nicole) Roark of Ingalls, Indiana, daughter, Heather (Christopher) VanGorp of Brownsburg, brother, John (Barbara) Roark, sister, Margaret Roark, brother-in-law, Jerry Shaw and grandchildren, Matthew Roark, Caleb Roark and Alexandra VanGorp.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Juliet Roark Shaw.

Family and friends will gather at the New Brunswick Church of Christ, 6480 S. State Road 39, Lebanon, Indiana, Thursday, May 5, 2016, 3:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m.
