Lovinia Agnes Roark, 96 years old of Pittsboro, Indiana, formerly of Lizton, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016. She was born January 21, 1919 in Hendricks County, Indiana, a daughter of Orville Stacy Wills and Deana (Bailey) Wills. She married John Lawrence Roark on October 27, 1945.

Lovinia was a 50+ year member of the Pittsboro Order of the Eastern Star, the New Brunswick Church of Christ, the Hendricks County Homemakers, the Union Township Trustee Advisory Board and the American Legion Auxiliary as well as a volunteer at Hendricks Regional Health and the Hendricks County Meals on Wheels.

She is survived by her sons, John (Barb) Roark of Brownsburg and Ed (Linda) Roark of Pittsboro, daughter, Margaret Roark of Pittsboro, son-in-law, Jerry Shaw of New Albany, 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lawrence Roark, parents, Orville and Deana Wills, brother, James Edwin Wills, sister, Nellie Cooper and daughter, Juliet Shaw.
