Artist, poet, and never married.

She lived a significant time in her latter years residing at the Peek Family Homestead in Deland, Florida, where she, her eldest sister Anne Elizabeth Copcutt, and her nieces Rebecca Medwin Hyde Peek and Marianna Hyde raised and educated Rebecca's son Gouverneur Medwin Peek. One of her most beautiful pieces of art is a portrait painting of Rebecca Medwin Hyde Peek.

According to contemporaries of her time, "Miss Anna [Crook] Copcutt spent her life as a family scribe copying her grandmother’s [Ann Crook] letters, parents [John Copcutt and Rebecca Medwin Boddington] correspondence and writing for religious magazines, as evidenced by the correspondence of James Andrew Wilcox (1848-1916) to Dr. Charles A. Leale MD. in 1886 (correspondence in possession of Rev. R. M. Steele)
