Born at 172 Duane Street, NYC, NY, (current 2016 Tribeca property) and "death on Tuesday [22 Mar 1927] at her home in Deland, Florida...Interment will be on Friday [25 Mar 1927] afternoon at 2 o'clock in St. John's Cemetery in Yonkers." NY Times 24 Mar 1927 pg. 25 near bottom caption "Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Copcutt Hyde"....

Mrs. A. E. C. Hyde was a prominent Sunday-school teacher in Christ Episcopal Church in Yonkers, NY.

In 1899, after her death of her mother, Rebecca Medwin Boddington Copcutt, she and her spinster daughter, Marianna Hyde, moved to Palatka, Florida to live with her daughter, Rebecca Medwin Hyde Peek and her son-in-law, Gouverneur Franklin Peek. After the death of her beloved son-in-law, in Palatka, FL, she built a fine home on 714 N. Boulevard (later 714 N Woodland Blvd.), Deland, Florida, where she and her two daughters and her baby grandson, Gouverneur Medwin Peek moved. Later, her sister, Anna C. Copcutt moved to the Deland house located now on 714 N. Woodland Blvd. The residence has been torn down and now in 2019 is the site of the First Presbyterian Church, Deland, FL, a beautiful and well-kept Church. Anne Elizabeth Copcutt Hyde died at the 714 N. Woodland Blvd., her residence at Deland, FL.
