Middletown, Md. - WILMER L. WISE, 86, of 7205 Dogwood Lane, died Friday, May 9, 2003, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Born Aug. 25, 1916, in Middletown, he was the son of the late Oliver Milton and Iresta Mae Haupt Wise.
He was a farmer, retiring in 1962. He was a member and trustee of Middletown United Methodist Church. He was a member of Maryland Sheriff's Association.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Stine Wise; one daughter, Bonnie W. Simons, Middletown; one son, David K. Wise, Middletown; one sister, Viola Blickenstaff, Middletown; one brother, Charles Wise, Boonsboro; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Services were held at Middletown United Methodist Church; burial was in Lutheran Cemetery, Middletown; arrangements were by Donald B. Thompson Funeral Home, Middletown.
