One of the well known farmers of the vicinity, Marion Ely, passed away Monday morning at his home 8 miles north of the city, soon after falling from his horse which he was riding. Death came almost instantly and when help got to him he was dead. Physicians summoned, stated after a thorough examination that the cause of death was heart failure and the fall had nothing to do what-so-ever with the death.
The deceased was 64 years old at the time of his death and was apparently in the best of health. Mr. Ely was well known in the city and especially so in Moravia and all who knew him loved him well sincerely regret his death.
