Anna Zane Mahood, 95 of Carrington Place, Wytheville, VA and formerly of Bluefield, VA went home to be with the Lord Saturday, April 23, 2016. Born in Pocahontas, VA, she was the daughter of the late Everette and Lucy Tabor Baker. Her life was spent in service to her church, Memorial Baptist. She was a faithful member, had served as church secretary for over 17 years and taught children in Sunday School for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Clarence H Mahood, Jr, sisters: Edith Shrader, Nellie Caldwell, Fannie Bailey and Vernon Hopkins; brothers: Blaine and Bill Baker; grandson: Phil Mahood; great-granddaughter: Anna Faith Mahood.
