Alice is the daughter of Dr. William A. and Louisa Loyd Baird Allen, and the twin of William Albert Allen.
Alice first married Roy William Evans on 14 Aug 1898 in Montier, Shannon, MO. They had a daughter, Opal Faris Evans.
In 1913, Alice married Frank M. E. Higgins in Neodesha, Wilson, KS. They had twins, Alberta Irene Higgins and Albert Orene Higgins. Baby Alberta Irene would survive only 1 month and 16 days.
Alice had some kind of health problem and after Frank built them a house in Independence, they sold it and packed up to move west for her health. Two months later they were back visiting friends in Pratt, KS and Alice suddenly died. Their son Al was only five years old.
