Born in Monroe County WV at Willow Bend, she was the daughter of Louis and Rosetta Harvey. She worked in sales early in her life and then later was a caregiver to many people. At the time of her death she was 93 years old and resided at Heritage Hall in Tazewell, VA. She was an active member of Falls Mills Christian Church and a choir member of the same. She was preceded in death by husband Chester E. Tabor. Survivors include son Ray McDaniel.
