Frances Louise Tolbert Speaker passed away on April 22, 2016 at the Houston County Nursing Home in Crockett. Louise was born September 4, 1926 to Doyle and Helen Tolbert near Mexia in Freestone County. Louise married George P. Speaker of Hitchcock on November 28, 1945. After retirement they moved to Lovelady to be near her family. They loved living in Lovelady and then Crockett. Louise was a homemaker and worked part time at Weiner's in Crockett and Dickinson.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, George P. Speaker; son, John Speaker; father Doyle A. Tolbert: parents, Helen Jackson Tolbert Blakeley; brother Coy Blakeley.
Funeral services for Louise Speaker will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 25, 2016 in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel. Rev. Ottis Byers, officiating. Interment to follow in Antioch Cemetery in Lovelady.
