Clyde Lewis age 73 of Bruin, Ky., passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016, at his residence.

Mr. Lewis was born June 19, 1942, in Elliott County, Ky., a son of the late Dennis and Ivory Hannah Lewis.

Clyde was a mechanic at East Kentucky Paving, Addington Coal and Grayson Coal. He was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed spending his spare time with his many friends and family.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one son, Tony "Randy' Lewis, four brothers, Wilber Lewis, Emory Lewis, Chester Lewis, Lonnie Lewis, one sister, Josie Hylton and two sister-in-laws, Jolene Lewis and Darreline Phillips Lewis.

Survivors include his loving wife, Sandra Lewis, one brother, Marion Lewis, two grandchildren, Dennis Everett Lewis, Kayla (Zach) Penix, two great-grandchildren, Jaden Penix, and Maddi Penix all of Sandy Hook, Ky., along with a host of family and friends who will sadly mourn his passing.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, April 24, 2016, in the Chapel of Waddell & Whitt Funeral Home in Sandy Hook, Ky., with Brother Ennis Lewis Jr., officiating. Burial will follow in the Lewis & Waggoner Cemetery at Bruin.
