Alfred “Al” Weaver departed this life on April 19, 2016 at the age of 80. He was born to George and Lorine (Burkett) Weaver on October 13, 1935 in Lonoke, Arkansas. Al married Anna Lee on November 21, 1983 in Ennis. He was a member of the American Legion and the KJT. He loved to watch old westerns and be with his family and friends. Al was a very strong-willed person and he didn’t let his stroke hold him back from doing anything especially driving.

Left to cherish his memories is his loving wife of 32 years Anna Lee Weaver of Ennis; three daughters, Sue Thompson and husband Donald of Ennis, Debbie Brewer of McKinney and Donna Thomas and husband Bill of Plano; two grandsons, Jeremy Thompson and wife Hayli of Ennis and Ryan Thompson and wife Lauren of Burleson; six great grandchildren; Lanie, Peyton, Addi, Bentley, Blakley and Luke; two brothers, Charlie Weaver and wife Augusta of White Hall, AR and Leo Weaver and wife Judy of Okeechabee, FL and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Lorine Weaver; sister, Shirley Weaver.

Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, April 22, 2016 from 6-8 PM at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home in Ennis.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 10 AM at the Boze-Mitchell-Mckibbin Chapel in Ennis. Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery.
