Mrs. Anna Cholak, aged 60, died at her home in Meadowlands this morning at 5:. 10 o'clock. The deceased had been in poor health for the past three years, and her condition had been serious for the past three weeks.
She was born in Austria, August 15, 1883, and was a member of the St. Michael's Greek Catholic church, and of the First Ladies Catholic Slovak Society of Meadowland. She had resided in Meadowlands district for 28 years. Her husband, George Cholak, died September 29, 1933.
Surviving; are the following children: Mrs. Mary Matula and Mrs. Helen Novak, both of New York; Mrs. Anna Alderson, Mrs. Catherine Hoefler, Mrs. Margaret Tiesenti. Michael, Jack and Joseph, all of Meadowlands; Elizabeth, Agnes and Lillian, all at home. One sister resides in Canada. She also leaves 14 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 1, at 8:30 a. m. from the late home, followed by services at 9 a. m., at the St. Michael's Greek Catholic church in charge of the Rev. Father John Caspar. Interment will be in St. Michael's cemetery.
