John H Hodgins, 84, expired Tuesday, March 23, 1971 in Marwood Manor. He was born August 6, 1886 in Port Sanilac and lived here for 56 years. Mr. Hodgins was a retired foreman of the pipe shop at Mueller Brass co. He was a member of the Quarter Century Club. He retired in 1952. His wife, Mabel M. Hodgins, expired November 8, 1962. Mr. Hodgins is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Howard Ward, Port Huron, and Mrs. Walter Labor, California; three sons, Earl E Hodgins, J. Douglas Hodgins and Stanley A. Hodgins, all of Port Huron; 18 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Burial was in Carsonville Cemetery. Mr Hodgins' grandsons were pallbearers.
