TEN CHILDREN SURVIVE.

Mrs. Lucy Montondo. 83, Expires at Home Near Pulaski.

PULASKI. Oct. 15,-Mrs. Lucy Montondo, wife of Frank Montondo, died this morning after a long illness at the family home, three miles southeast of this village. Mrs. Montondo was one of the oldest residents of the town and was married to Frank Montondo more than sixty years ago.

Of the fourteen children born to the couple ten survive, five sons and five daughters.

The funeral will be held at the house on Friday afternoon. Burial will be at Riverside cemetery.

Note her Madian name has variations that occurred over time. The family very often would intermarry with Montondo/Montando/Montondon. Note the family originated from France migrating to Quebec then onto Jefferson County NY. The various siblings then further migrated other counties in NYS. As time went on many times the name were adjusted. As of this family could not read and were dependent on those who took census as well as other legal documents.
