Barbara was such a sweet and interesting person. Barbara told us stories about her time working with Cesar Chavez. She actually went out to the fields with him. Barbara was a very independent person.
Barbara enjoyed watching EWTN, she loved Mother Angelica, founder of Eternal Word Television Network. She said her rosary with Mother Angelica during its daily broadcast on television. Barbara kept busy with volunteer work at her church. She also taught citizenship classes at a school near her home. Barbara had many friends she spent time with.
Barbara suffered from Alzheimer's the last few years of her life. She is buried near her parents.
Barbara is survived by her son, a sister and a brother, nieces and nephews.
