South Thompson Community - Mr. Jason E. Adams, age 31, of the South Thompson Community, got his angel wings on April 8, 2016 after an extensive battle with cancer while at Georgia Regents Medical Center in Augusta.

He was employed with Local Union 515 in Atlanta, loved hunting and fishing, and was Baptist by faith. He will be missed by all that knew him and was a huge inspiration to many.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, George and Edna Sharpe; and paternal grandparents, Luther and Eva Adams.

Mr. Adams is survived by his parents, Ronnie and Brenda Adams; one sister, Felicia Adams Carroll and husband Donald all of the South Thompson Community; one brother, Ronald Adams, Jr. and wife Patsy of Uvalda; one niece, Madison Evans; two nephews, Brandon Evans and Isaiah Evans all of the South Thompson Community; several special aunts, uncles, cousins, and a lot of friends.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 12th at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Brian Patrick, Pastor Reece Mincey, and Reverend Bob Corley officiating. Burial will follow in the Dead River Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
