Martha T. Adams, 77, resident of Bethesda formerly of Phoenix, NY. Salutatorian of her high school class in Phoenix. She earned her R.N. from the Rochester School of Nursing in 1948 and a B.S. in Business from the University of Maryland in 1984. She was a supervising nurse at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester and City Hospital in Syracuse. Martha was a broker and sales manager for real estate firms in Maryland and Virginia. Predeceased by parents, William H. and Grace E. Winne Turner and brother, Robert G. Turner.
Survivors: Dr. Ralph G. Adams of Bethesda and Cambridge, MD; daughters, Elizabeth A. Adams of Montgomery Village and Jane W. Adams of Havre de Grace, MD; son and daughter-in-law, William T. and Sarah H. Granger of Kensington; sisters, Jane E. Terpening of Westport, CT and Grace W. Bunyea of Westminster, MD; brothers, William Marvin Turner of Los Alamos, NM, Stuart W. Turner of Phoenix and several nieces and nephews.
