Bertha was born May 15, 1919 in Greene County, IL, the daughter of Frank and Eva Shepler Boyd.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, one brother, and a nephew. Surviving are 12 nieces and nephews and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Bertha was a supervisor at the Community Workshop and Training Center in Peoria for several years prior to her retirement. She was a member of a non-denominational Christian fellowship.
She enjoyed traveling in years past, crocheting, knitting, quilting, and helping others.
Funeral services will be at 2pm Friday, April 8, 2016 at Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4-6pm Thursday, April 7, 2016 also at the funeral home. Jeffrey Thayer and Sharon Carroll will officiate.
Burial will be in Brimfield Cemetery.
