A L Shambaugh, residing on Sheetz street, West side, last evening received word that his half brother, John McFarland, had died at Montmorenci at 6:30 o'clock, heart disease being the cause. He was 72 years old and was born and reared in this county. Mr McFarland had been a member of the United Brethren church nearly all of his life and was a man of the highest integrity. A widow and four children survive. The funeral will occur to-morrow morning at 10 o'clock from the United Brethren church at Montmorenci. Rev Joseph Cooper officiating.
