Samuel Haas, Native of County Dies at Hicksville Saturday
Samuel Haas, 87, of Hicksville, a native of Jefferson township, died Saturday in the Hicksville hospital after a week's illness.
Mr. Haas, a former farmer in the vicinity of Warsaw, spent the past several years at Hicksville.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Pearl Ensley of Lima, Mrs. Anna Kuhn of Greentown and Mrs. Lydia Frederick of Warsaw.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Perkin-Reed funeral home at Hicksville. Burial will be in Valley View cemetery at Warsaw, preceded by graveside services in charge of Rev. Howard Knittle, of Nellie.
