A native of Aiken, S.C., he was a member of Campbell Chapel AME Church and Campbell Chapel Masonic Lodge 64.
Survived by his wife, Hester A. Kenner; a daughter, Alneader Kenner of Carrollton; a stepdaughter, Michelle Leonard of Smithfield; four sisters, Ruby Baker and Connie Adams of New York City, Annie McKie of Maryland and Bessie Davis of Aiken; three brothers, Joseph Kenner of Burlington, N.J., and Johnny Kenner and James T. Kenner of Aiken; and a grandchild.
Funeral at 1 p.m. Thursday at Mount Joy Church of God in Christ, Suffolk, by the Rev. Fred Scott. Burial in Tynes Memorial Cemetery, Smithfield. Arrangements by Pretlow & Chapman Funeral Home, Smithfield.
