Born May 17, 1923 to the late Ben and Geneva Pritchard.
She departed this on March 28, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family.
She professed her hope in Christ at an early age. She then became a dedicated member of Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church serving on the Usher Board as treasurer until she was no longer able.
She started as a field worker progressed to a caregiver, and then became a private housekeeper and sitter for many years. She was a testimony of strength and integrity. In her 92 years of living she never met a stranger; she was always kind and loving and always speaking encouraging words to everyone. She loved going fishing, working in the yard and planting gardens. When reading the Bible her favorite chapter was Psalms 23.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Henry Pillow, three children; Arthur Joe, Lovaine, Betty Lou, one step son, Clint, three sisters; Leo, Alean, Jessie Mae, one grand daughter, Janice and one grandson, Arthur, Jr.
Adell leaves to treasure her memory forever three children; Elnora Horton of Olmsted, IL., Jessie (Elsie) Pillow of Decatur, IL., Dorothy White of Sandusky, IL., three of her sisters' children she raised and adopted as her own, Robert Browning of San Diego, CA, Wilma (Rozell) Edwards of Tamms, IL., and James Browning of Virginia Beach, VA, 22 grandchildren, 27 + great grandchildren, 11 great- great grandchildren and a whole host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
