Beattyville, Sept. 13 - Ewen Dunaway, 66, a retired farmer, died at his home here at 5:30 a.m. today after a long illness. A veteran of World War I, he was a member of the Christian Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Frances Dunaway; six sons, James Dunaway, Ludlow; Orville Dunaway and Roscoe Dunaway, both of Cincinnati, Ohio; Fred Dunaway, Walter Dunaway and Thomas Dunaway, all of Beattyville; three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Roach, Mrs. Alice Faye Roach, both of Cincinnati, Ohio; Mrs. Jeanetta Handlon, Indianapolis, Ind.; a sister, Mrs. Alice Couch, Lexington, and 23 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at the home at 2 p.m. Tuesday by the Rev. Sam Wilson. Burial will be in Akers Cemetery.
