James Walter Campbell was born October 21, 1934 in Vendor, AR, a son of Peter T. and Rosallie (Riddell) Campbell. He died July 28, 2003, in Springfield, MO at the age of 68.
He was preceded in death by parents; son, Richard Lynn Campbell; grandson, James David Royce; seven brothers; and three sisters.
He was a farmer and a member of Piercetown Holiness Church.
Survivors include his wife, Charlene (Middleton) Campbell; three daughters, Nina Royce and her husband David, Penny Marshall and her husband Rex, Godson, Andy Campbell, Barbara Fariss and her husband Kenneth; grandchildren, Dough Royce, Zack Marshall, Cassie and husband Golden; three brothers, Loyce Ray and Loyd Campbell; three sisters, Louisa Bolin, Fay Stewart, and Joanne Royce and numberous nieces and nephews.

Services were performed by Rev. Carl Goodall and Rev. Charles Christian.
Service was at Piercetown Holiness Church on August 1st, 2003 at 2 pm.
Pallbearers were Delbert Williams, Richard Campbell, Doyle Black, Clifton Flud, Richard Bowers, and Anthony Bowers.
