Lewis Arthur Clancy managed the Loveland Product Co. of Loveland, Colorado, and then the Mountain Ice Company in Santa Fe, NM for 37 years.
Early in 1933 Lewis A. decided he wanted to see California. Lewis T. and Katherine drove out with Lewis A. & Nellie. Lewis T., did most of the driving as Lewis A. was having heart troubles. Lewis A. & Nellie stayed in Inglewood, because Lewis A. had thoughts of a business venture. They were there when the earthquake happened. Lewis T. & Katherine returned to Albuquerque, NM, in May, there Lewis T. found work. Lewis T. returned to Inglewood after his father died to help his mother relocate to Santa FE.
