Funeral For Mrs. M.E. Murchison Friday

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Gaither Murchison, 86, who died at the home of her son, Captain William G. Muchison, in Omaha, Neb., on July 19th, were held at Wesley's Chapel, near Pino, on Friday afternoon, July 24th. The deceased was much beloved, and a large number of relatives and friends gathered to pay their last tribute of respect to this goog woman. She was the daughter of Burgess Gaither and Sarah McMahan Gaither, and was the widow of Rev. Abner K. Murchison, a Methodist minister. She spent most of her life near farmington, and was a faithful member of the Wesley's Chapel, being a teacher of Sunday school for many years. One daughter, Mrs. Sallie Murchison Taylor, and a son, Kenneth Murchison, preceded her to the grave. She is survived by one son, Captain W. G. Murchison, of Omaha, and several grandchildren. The funeral services were in charhe of Rev. M.G. Ervin, of Farmington, and the pallbearers were: C. H. McMahan, J. E. Miller, Fred Swing, Vernon Miller, Hugh Latham and Gaither Latham. The flowers were carried by Misses Margaret Miller, Sallie Spillman, Evelyn Leckie, Laura Ward, Mrs. John Miller and Mrs. Lucy Edwards Collett.
