Young Lady Burned to Death

Sad news was received in Gonzales this morning regarding a young lady who was very popular among her acquaintances here, where she had frequently visited. The message stated that Miss Nettie Darst, of Richmond, Texas, who was burned by the explosion of an alcohol lamp on Friday night last, had passed away this morning at 5 o'clock as a result of the injuries received.
The news has caused sorrow in the hearts of her many friends in this city, for she was deservedly popular. She was a visitor in this city about six weeks ago, and was a niece of Mrs. L. G. Lum, formerly of Harwood.
