Ms. Dora Kallie (Newman)Cole of Chickamauga died Sunday, Sept. 29, 1996, at her residence. She was 81.
Ms. Cole was the widow of Mr. Denzel Cole. She was a member of Pine Grove Mission.
Survivors include one son, O’Neal Cole, Chickamauga; three daughters, Jinnie Ruth Cole Evans Pedigo, Nellie Jo Cole Burrows and Kathy Cole Carrington Thomas, Chickamauga; one sister, Marie Pankey, Chickamauga; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Oct. 1, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bill Hixon officiating. Burial was in Grand Center Cemetery. Pallbearers were nephews.
