Mrs. Jeanette Scott Pugh, age 74, passed away on Saturday, November 21st, at the Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Facility after an extended illness.
She was a Chicago native and resided in Detroit, Michigan, before residing in Bulloch County for over 24 years. She was owner and operator of Madam Pugh Daycare before retiring in 2011. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God of Statesboro, Ga.
She is survived by her loving children, Ms. Vera Owens and Mr. Phillip Owens, both of Statesboro, Ga., Mr. Eddie Owens of Glennville, Ga., Mr. Eugene (Ramona) Owens of Detroit, Michigan, and Mr. Leon (Margret) Owens of Brunswick, Ga.; a loving sister, Mrs. Joann Hamilton of Detroit, Michigan; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The graveside service for Mrs. Jeanette Pugh will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at 3 p.m. in the Eastside Cemetery, Highway 80 East, Statesboro, Ga., with Elder Donnell Harden officiating.
