Larry Busby, 66, Parnell, Missouri, died Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born July 29, 1949 in Maryville to John L. and Catherine (Spire) Busby. They preceded him in death.

Larry and Debbie DeFreece were married November 9, 1974 in St. Joseph Parish, Parnell.

A graduate of Northeast Nodaway R-V High School, he was a farmer. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Parnell, Nodaway County Cattleman's Association, Farm Bureau and Missouri Corn Growers.

Larry is survived by his wife Debbie Busby of the home in Parnell; sons Brad (Jamie) Busby and Matthew Busby, Parnell, daughter Natalie (Matthew) Yaple, Maryville; 5 grandchildren: Makayla, Emily and Hayden Yaple, and Baylie and Bexlie Busby; brothers: Earl (Teri) Busby, Kilgore, Texas, Richard (Cindy) Busby, Parnell and Kevin (Juanita) Busby, St. Joseph, MO and sister Mary Jo (Mike) Barmann, Maryville.

Parish Rosary will be 5:00 PM Friday, March 18th, followed by a visitation from 5:30-8:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Parnell.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Saturday, March 19th, also at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery, Parnell.
